Hi!
Monday I went in and played with LibraryThing - easy! Check it out at: http://www.librarything.com/catalog/sindasue
This would be a fun project for my home library. I could get my books and videos/dvds organized and print a list of them - I would know exactly what I have.
I'm not sure how I would use this in a library setting. . . and for sharing my personal books, - well, - if I do share a book, I just bring it into the library and check it out as an ILL. I've discovered that friends take much better care of the item that way. And most importantly the item gets back to me in good condition!

This next bunch of pictures are some photo's my husband took of the flowers. I tried to make a set for these, but discovered I can only have three sets - otherwise I would be in the pro group ($). Anyway this takes in all of the photo's.

Wow! I had so much fun taking pictures, that I had to narrow down what I pictures I wanted to post. Then I forgot to use the tag "Montana Libraries" to them and that took me awhile to figure out how to add that tag. Oh! but let me back up. Yesterday I went to the media center to have them help me download my pictures into a folder - well now, they were astounded at how many pictures I had on the disk - abut 600! Bless their hearts, they gave me gentle instruction on how to download the pictures into folders on to my thumb drive. They would explain and show me the process, and then I had to reiterate and show them that I really was paying attention! That took two hours. Today I plugged in the thumb drive to view the folders. Yippee! it worked perfectly! I chose the folder that I needed and reviewed each one before I dropped it into the Flickr Uploadr. Cool. Please let me know which picture you like the best! It would be fun to see if you choose the same one that I like. Bye for now! Sinda

Feeding the Blogline

I enjoyed reading about Feeds and Bloglines - I even signed up for several Feeds - I just seem to forget to check on them. I also signed up for several Feeds through Blogline - I really enjoy the art feeds - I will need to show my husband that feature, because I know he would really enjoy that. I signed up for others to check them out - I'm not excited about them, so it's time to get rid of 'em. How do I delete them? I tried to highlight and delete, that didn't work. Part of the reason I need to delete the other feeds is because I can not sit that long!!! My but is so sore - I have to get up and move.
I'm looking forward to Flicker - how cool!
I can see the value of this, I'm not sure I'm ready for it!
I did check out Twitter. . . here are my thoughts that I wrote down: like blogs, but much shorter (140 characters only). too much information! who cares?! People need to get a life! Rather negative isn't it! Yikes!!!

Life Long Learning

I'm definitely a Life Long Learner - I like the challenge of it! I learn in many ways - discussing, listening, observing, asking questions, (lot's of questions) and hands on. Sometimes I need to mull something over in my mind for a week or two - then the light bulb comes on. . . . . . sometimes it's like a bolt of lightning - Wham!
The hardest one for me to remember is to PLAY. Now I know some of you will think that's a bit odd - well, I guess I am a bit odd. . . no comments allowed. . . I tend to have a serious nature and take things way to seriously. I am on the path of enlightenment. . . so there is hope for me.
